Pit’s popularity is rising

As you can probably tell from my most recent posts, Kid Icarus: Uprising is top of my list for upcoming games but unfortunatly I won’t be getting it on release date because it’s my birthday shortly after…

BUT I was able to gather some more information on the weapons and how to unlock them!

• The Bow is the first weapon avaliable to pit
• Variations of each weapon are avaliable like the midnight palm and Twinbellows cannon.
• Weapons are avaliable from defeating friends in Multiplayer, End-Of-Stage prizes and finding them in the game.
• Weapons (like powers) are valued based on melee, range and manouverability
• Some weapons are made to resemble characters and items.

Kid Icarus in a whole new dimension!

Now you’ve probably heard about the newest game for the 3DS coming out this month: Kid Icarus: Uprising (Da-da-da-daa!). Which is a sequel to the game Kid Icarus: Myths and Monsters thats about 25 years overdue.

But did you know the game has amazing AR features where you collect cards (*Cough* Pokemon) and use them in 1-on-1 battles against eachother, where the character, item, weapon etc. appears on your kitchen table, floor, bed etc. and has a battle, punch-up, smackdown etc.

Now you’re brobably wondering “Where could I get such wonderous playthings?”. Well, the answer is all manor of places!

The game itself comes with 6 cards that have been randomly chosen out of a pool of 20, but you can also get them from

• Nintendo themed events and tournaments (The details of which I don’t have and don’t have enough time to look them up…)
• Various magazines such as ONM which are giving away some AR cards in next month’s magazine which comes out on 5th of April.
• American club Nintendo Members can get the “Drill” “Medusa” and “Reaper” cards for free  just for being members of club nintendo!
• UK club nintendo members can soon buy packs of 6 for 250 stars each from the star catalouge!

So the only thing to do now is catch em’ all!

Character profile #4: Blitties

The Blitties are a species that appear in Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story. They are animate blocks that resemble cats. Broque, after meeting with Bowser in Dimble Wood requests that Bowser locate & bring him these “rare creatures”. They’re trapped within enemies during battle, so Bowser must use his Vacuum command to obtain them as an item. There are 15 Blitties in all.

Once Bowser gets them, he can go to Broque’s shop and leave them there. He gets extra equipment for that. The reward for finding all fifteen Blitties is a new special ability for Bowser, Broggy Bonker.

hello again!

I’ve been sick recently so I haven’t been posting at all and I felt all bad and after that I’ve just been playing mario party 9 a lot I remembered that I needed to write a review for it (which I won’t be doing today).

it’s also made me realise that I find it almost a chore to write a news update each week simply because it involves planning, research, typing, time and a cup of hot chocolate, and there’s not an unlimited supply of hot chocolate, people! So I don’t think i’ll be News updating anytime soon, in the meantime I’ve decided to fill the gap between thursday and friday with something else, Records!

Each friday i’ll post a record such as my fastest mariokart 7 race time or my highest ministar total on bob-omb factory!

just felt like filling you guys in with cement the info!

To Vlog or not to Vlog

Hola mon amigos!

Today I was watching the charlieissocoollike videos (I do love me some charlie!) and realised how amazing he was at vlogging, which for those of you that don’t know, is like a blog but instead of me typing everything out I’d just record myself talking instead. Then I thought it could be a pretty cool idea to do it too! So I talked myself into vlogging…then talked myself out….then in… and out…this went on for quite a while.

But what do you think? I’ve had “Mrslidersworld” for over a month now and I haven’t had too many people reading it, seriously my busiest day had 9 people reading. So if I was going to vlog i’d have to have a few more people here first…

So all of you pro-vloggers can go get me some readers! And all you anti-vloggers can go and…not vlog…

Just a quick hello to say that I probably won’t be reviewing Mario Party 9 and Kid Icarus: Uprising until after early April, simply because it’s my birthday and if I go out and buy those games before my birthday then it would be pointless because I could get those games without money upon my birthday and I would have the upper hand because then I would have more money than if I had bought the game  prior to my birthday, phew that was confusing, basically I won’t review those games until I get them

The correct answer was D (come on people ) It was the month-a-versary of Mrslidersworld! So I decided that I’d honour the occasion with a look back at the greatest moments

1. The First day I had this blog and I got all annoyed because I hadn’t become an internet star in about 2 hours and compared myself to Ben from Lost…at least it wasn’t Desmond…I dislike Desmond…
2. When I had an idea about “Mii Adventure” the game in which your mii went on a mario galaxy type adventure.
3. When I made my first review about Super Pokemon Rumble and gave you all those Tornadus codes, unless you’re japanese and I gave you an Oshawatt code :p
4. When I remade the entire schedule for postings (Which i’ve found is hard to stick to) and include character profiles. That made me feel all professional
5. When I began my Dharma T-Shirt Challenge which is going pretty well, seeing as I already have 5 out of 16.

So there you have it! my favourite things that this little space of intrenet has given to me! and I’m going to become more like a professional Game specialist site now so less personal posts and more reviewey ones, and remember to tell your friends, enemies, family members, teachers, Bartenders, limo drivers, sofas, windows, wigs, gasses, candles and mainstream particles about this blog!
